World’s first globe-trotting flying hotel takes onto the skies in 2027 aboard Abercrombie & Kent’s private jet
Floating hotels sailing like cruise ships are common, but how about taking such cruisers onto the skies?
About time too.
Abercrombie & Kent unveiled its 2027 private jet journeys, which is essentially a 5-star hotel on wings, with new itineraries with a series of experiences featuring rare cultural access and wildlife encounters.
The private jet journeys are hosted on a chartered Boeing 757 that features 50 fully lie-flat seats.
The Abercrombie & Kent (A&K)’s private jet director, Rami Girgis, said the exclusivity of the experiences is a significant draw for travelers, even enticing repeat guests.
“Africa: Across a Continent by Private Jet”
This will take guests on a 22-day journey from the 4th to the 25th of February 2027 for US$169,500.
The itinerary is adventure-driven, exploring Carthage’s ruins, adopting an orphaned elephant in Kenya and meeting primates in Rwanda.
Guests will also get the special chance of meeting in person with the late South African president Nelson Mandela’s former prison guard.
“Epic Islands and Landscapes: Around the World by Private Jet”
Another tour across the sky in a hotel-like jet will take place from May 1 to 26.
The US$189,500 trip will take travelers around the globe, starting with four nights on a yacht exploring the Galapagos Islands before visiting Easter Island, the Cook Islands, New Zealand, Bali and more.
Highlights include a private hot air balloon ride over the legendary Serengeti National Park in Northern Tanzania, tracking endangered species in Yala National Park in Sri Lanka and driving vintage Alfa Romeos in Sicily.
“Wild Wonders: Around the World by Private Jet”
This other treat through the clouds also costs US$189,500 and will take place from the 4th to the 29th of September 2027.
This wildlife focused itinerary will introduce travelers to eight ecosystems, each with fauna and flora found nowhere else on the planet.
Guests will experience a wildlife encounter with Tasmanian devils and wombats, visit a remote island to observe Komodo dragons, kayak coral reefs in the Seychelles with a marine biologist and scout out the Big Five in South Africa.

Then there is the “Hidden Horizons with Geoffrey Kent: A Private Jet Journey.”
This is an itinerary designed and hosted by Abercrombie & Kent founder Geoffrey Kent.
The US$198,500 trip will be hosted between the 14th of October and 8th of November 2027.
This itinerary will be introducing travelers to “overlooked yet fascinating destinations.”
The program highlights include meeting the Asantehene, king of the Ashanti Kingdom in Ghana; a helicopter ride above Victoria Falls; exploring Kazakhstan; and experiencing a private Kukeri festival performance in Bulgaria.
