The First Hotel Indigo Branded Residences launched by IHG and Mountain View at Ras El Hekma in Egypt
The IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered into an agreement with Mountain View for Development and Real Estate Investment to introduce The Residences at Hotel Indigo Mountain View Ras El Hekma in Egypt.
Perched on Egypt’s North Coast, along the Mediterranean shoreline, the property marks the first Hotel Indigo branded residences worldwide.
The project will include 280 residential units, from studios to one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, complementing the previously announced 100-key Hotel Indigo Mountain View Ras El Hekma hotel.
Residents will benefit from hospitality-led services and amenities within Mountain View’s master-planned beachfront destination.
Haitham Mattar, is the Managing Director for India, Middle East & Africa at IHG Hotels & Resorts.
Mattar described the signing as a significant step for IHG and the Hotel Indigo brand globally.
The Managing Director noted that launching the first branded residences reflects how the brand is evolving beyond traditional hospitality to meet changing guest and owner expectations.
As far as Mattar is concerned their collaboration with Mountain View aims to create a residential experience that combines Hotel Indigo’s individuality and neighborhood character with IHG’s trusted service and quality in one of Egypt’s most promising destinations.
On his part, Amr Soliman, the Founder and Executive Chairman of Mountain View, called the collaboration a strategic milestone in the company’s efforts to develop integrated destinations that redefine coastal living in Egypt.
Soliman emphasized that the project is not just about delivering residential units but about creating lifestyle-driven communities that offer a complete experience, including quality design, extensive services, and a connection to the surrounding area.
The Mountain View official also highlighted that the launch of the first Hotel Indigo-branded residential development worldwide demonstrates international partners’ confidence in Mountain View’s vision and its ability to deliver innovative real estate products meeting global standards.
He expressed belief in Ras El Hekma’s potential to become a vibrant, integrated, year-round coastal destination combining residential living, hospitality, entertainment, and distinctive lifestyle experiences.
