Hotel Expo Morocco coming up in November 2026 alongside Africa Food Show, Casablanca

Casablanca City is hosting The Hotel Expo Morocco an event which is slated from November 17 to 19.

To be held at the Foire Internationale de Casablanca (OFEC), the Hotel Expo is inaugurating a major international business-to-business platform for the hospitality, catering, and food service sectors.

Organized alongside the Africa Food Show Morocco, the joint trade fair arrives at a critical juncture for the Kingdom’s tourism infrastructure.

With Morocco slated to co-host the 2030 FIFA World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal, the country is executing an unprecedented overhaul of its accommodation capacity, transport networks, and urban hospitality standards.

The three-day exhibition will assemble international hotel chains, institutional investors, procurement directors, architects, and technology vendors to address a market undergoing rapid structural transformation.

Exhibits and deal rooms will focus on hotel design and fit-outs, commercial kitchen technology, facility management systems, guest-facing digital services, and sustainable building technologies.

Powering the 2030 Capacity Push

Under Morocco’s national tourism roadmap, the government has set an ambitious target to welcome 26 million visitors annually by 2030—a substantial leap requiring tens of thousands of new and upgraded hotel keys across key host cities, including Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Tangier, Agadir, and Fez.

Casablanca itself is at the heart of this expansion. Beyond its traditional standing as North Africa’s primary financial and corporate center, the city is preparing to serve as a primary sporting gateway for 2030, anchored by the development of the 115,000-seat Grand Stade Hassan II in nearby Benslimane.

The influx of international football delegations, corporate sponsors, and global supporters demands a diversified accommodation mix, ranging from luxury flagships to midscale and extended-stay properties.

“Events like The Hotel Expo Morocco play a pivotal operational role in this cycle,” noted regional infrastructure and hospitality analysts. “Meeting FIFA’s rigorous host-city specifications requires far more than constructing buildings; it necessitates a comprehensive modernization of the supply chain—from high-efficiency commercial catering systems to smart energy management across all accommodation tiers.”

Synergies with Africa Food Show

By co-locating with the Africa Food Show Morocco, the event deliberately integrates the full HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, Catering) continuum with the agri-food and beverage supply chains.

The convergence addresses growing demand from Moroccan and regional operators to source sustainable, farm-to-table food products, upscale banquet logistics, and high-volume food processing solutions capable of supporting major sporting tournaments and conventions.

The exhibition also leverages Casablanca’s geographic and logistical strengths. Positioned along key trade routes linking Europe, West Africa, and the Middle East—and supported by the air connectivity of Mohammed V International Airport—the gathering aims to act as a procurement conduit for projects across the continent.

With professional registrations now open and the official agenda finalized, the event is set to provide developers, international brands, and local suppliers with a practical roadmap to contract, partner, and scale ahead of 2030.
