AndBeyond is working to expand its presence in Kenya’s “wild north,” with some exclusive offering through specialized properties. Hotels Africa has learned.
This time andBeyond Suyian Homestead, a new private safari home with five suites is coming up within the exclusive 44,000-acre Suyian Conservancy.
Set to open doors in June 2027, the sole-use safari home was designed for small groups of friends, couples or multi-generational families looking for space, privacy and ultra-personalized safari experiences.
Suyian Homestead will join andBeyond Suyian Lodge located 10-minute drive away, as the Suyian Conservancy’s sole tourism presence.
It can accommodate up to 11 guests in five suites, including a primary bedroom and one with a triple configuration.
The measurement of roughly 555 square-metres (6,000 square-feet) of space includes expansive living rooms, an open kitchen, long dining tables and shaded terraces. Exteriors make the most of the expansive views, including from an infinity pool and multiple al fresco dining areas.
The building’s sculptural forms follow the ridgelines, while indigenous plants mirror the vegetation growing between rock fissures. Interiors feature reclaimed timber, stone and bronze, alongside Kenyan-crafted furniture, Samburu artefacts, beadwork and collected antiques.
Life at Suyian Homestead is intentionally unstructured, allowing days to unfold at the guests’ pace and preference.
A staff of 13, plus two private safari guides and two six-seater all-terrain (4×4) safari vehicles are exclusively available for Homestead guests.
Suyian Conservancy is known for biodiversity, including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, African wild dog and occasional sightings of the elusive black leopard.

Beyond traditional safari activities, guests may also explore the landscape through camel experiences, horseback riding safaris, catch-and-release fishing, scenic helicopter flights and cattle ranching.
Alternatively, guests can enjoy in-suite wellness treatments, gym sessions and poolside afternoons.
Plus, they also have access to the facilities at nearby Suyian Lodge, including its wellness centre and the Safari Shop.
Owned by the Suyian Conservancy Trust and managed under a Kenya Wildlife Service-approved plan with oversight from Space for Giants, the Suyian Conservancy is the kind of vast and wild place andBeyond has long committed to conserving.
The brand’s low-impact model can be seen across the Homestead: approximately 80 percent of its energy requirements will be met through solar power, supported by borehole water systems, rainwater harvesting and indigenous landscaping. Ingredients for all meals will be sourced within a 31-mile radius, from kitchen gardens, regional farms and trusted local producers.
